Fisher seniors Mary Kate Comfort and Kristen Taliento embrace after a win over the Pioneers in their final regular season game.

Going into Friday's game against Utica, the Cardinals boasted a home record of seven wins and three losses.
They would make it eight and three when the night, which was dedicated to the team's two seniors, was over.
Coming off an overtime loss to rival Nazareth, Fisher was looking for a win against a solid Utica team in its last game of the regular season.
Parents, players and fans formally recognized Mary Kate Comfort and Kristen Taliento before the game. Going in, Comfort had contributed 974 points and 100 steals in her basketball career at Fisher.
Taliento added 462 points and a .360 shooting percentage in her four years. They ended the game combined for 18 points, nine rebounds and two steals.
The game began with an 8-0 Fisher run. Junior Colleen Maloney made a three-point shot soon after, putting the score at 11-2. Utica's lackadaisical team play led to a 20-9 Fisher lead early in the first half.
With seven and a half minutes remaining in the first half Fisher freshman Jessica Krzemien hit a deep three pointer making the score 31-20.
Maloney hit another three pointer with four minutes remaining to make the score 39- 29. Maloney would finish the game leading the team with 20 points.
With one minute remaining in the first half, Fisher junior Stephanie Sweeney stole the ball, ran down the court and posted an easy layup to stretch the score at 47-31.
A half-court buzzer-beater attempt at the end of the first half by Utica's Devon Croll swooshed through the hoop but was a second too late ending the half with Fisher up 47-33.
With the starters back in for both teams, Utica started with the ball in the second half.
Utica's Stephanie Nara made the first basket of the half. Fouled on the shot, Nara missed the foul shot for the three-point play.
Utica began to press on Fisher inbound attempts. As a result, Utica picked up its defensive play and worked hard to erase the point deficit they put themselves in.
In less than a minute Utica scored seven straight points on their way to an 11-2 run. This put the score at 59-51 with 12 minutes remaining.
