I plan to apply to grad schools either in the Washington D.C. area or in New York State to study history, political science or intelligence; I am just not sure which yet. It's one of those things where you know what you want to do; you just don't know exactly how to get there yet. During the rest of my junior year and then during my senior year I really have to get stuff together and look into internships that could possibly lead to a job down the road.
Q: As director of student services what do you feel are your best accomplishments?
I would say one of my greatest accomplishments has been serving as a student body voice. Being part of the food services committee and the college book store committee, I have been working and communicating with both Andrea and Dan to facilitate change and represent the voice of the students. As part of the book store committee I have been part of requesting a proposal for the college bookstore and interviewing different bookstores to see which fits Fisher best, which is our current Barnes and Noble.
Q: What are your current goals?
I plan to get involved in different clubs and organizations as I haven't had the chance to serve on those committees being a senator. I just joined the Teddi committee this year, but not in a leadership position. I want to be able to attend different events and also be more involved in attending diversity events especially. By the end of this year my major goal is to have the discount card completed for Fisher students. I want to get the message out to freshman that they can get around Rochester with the shuttle and RTS as well.
Q: Do you plan to run again in the next election?
I do not plan to run again for the Executive Board as I have been on it for three years now and I want someone else to get into that position while I am still here on campus. This way I will be available to help them in any way I can with questions and give them support. I am ready to take on new positions such as in the form of an internship or a board member on other committees. No matter what I am still going to be involved with the campus community.
Q: How do you balance being a director and a part of two committees with your school work, etc.?
