Sarah Campagna, the director of the Fisher Fund, explains that "The Fisher Fund is our brand for the annual fund, as the bottom line is, this fund is all about the students."

This year the annual fund has a goal of $1.1 million and already, $374,140 has been raised. Campagna, along with members of the Fisher Fund, has been working hard to develop their fundraising tactics to meet this year's goal. This year they have done things a bit different by starting the phone-a-thon six weeks earlier than previous years and continuing it two weeks longer. So far, there have been over 915 donors from the phone-a-ton alone this fall.

When a donation is given, the donor can either opt to choose specifically where the money will go, or choose to give an unrestricted donation.

Last year as part of the Fisher Fund, an alumni parents fund was launched and last year 378 parents donated. Over $37,000 was donated and another $18,000 was promised as a multi-pledge. Making even more strides, 45 percent of last year's full time faculty and staff made gifts to the Fisher Fund. Commenting on this outstanding turnout Sarah said, "The people who work here feel that Fisher is really special. They care about the students enough that not only do they give of their time and knowledge as faculty members and staff, they give of their financial resources as well-many giving directly out of their paychecks-to support their Fisher students." If employees weren't happy they wouldn't give, but at the level they are giving here at Fisher it shows us they must be happy. "Statistics like this prove that if this many people give back to the school, it's very exciting, you don't find figures like that at other colleges, we are very proud," said Campagna.

Over the past year many changes have been made regarding the way money is solicited from young alumni donors. There has been great focus on recognizing the donors and recently the first ever Maroon and Gold (Graduates of Last Decade) recognition event has been launched.
