O'Connor Ermi officially named head coach

After an 18-10 season and an ECAC upstate championship, Marianne O'Connor Ermi has been named the head coach of the St. John Fisher College women's basketball team.
O'Connor Ermi had officially been the interim head coach after former coach Phil Kahler's retirement right before the start of the 2008-2009 season.
Before being named the interim head coach, O'Connor Ermi spent 23 years as an assistant under Kahler. She also played for the Cardinals during her college years and joined Fisher's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.
O'Connor Ermi is just the second coach in the program's 35 year old history.
