Stuck in the Middle: Heidi Montag thinks John McCain is hot

Presidential-hopeful Barack Obama has been snagging some pretty lucrative supporters lately.
This includes one of Bill Clinton's cabinet members, former Labor Secretary Robert Reich.
Ouch.
It's bad enough that little girl from Hillary's lame late-night phone call commercial is an Obama supporter, and the fact that several people from her own campaign have switched sides.
Not even her husband can snag her support. I sometimes doubt if even he will vote for her in November considering how he has unabashedly been sabotaging her campaign efforts.
While these are all things that make Obama look good, one of his most recent endorsements may come as a slap in the face.
According to CNN, Hamas (yes that's a Palestinian terrorist organization) has declared that they support Obama for president.
Awesome. As if having Hussein for a middle name wasn't bad enough for Americans to choke down. Not to mention all of the talk that he is a Muslim.
But if that takes attention away from his real pastor, the crazed and outspoken Rev. Jeremiah Wright, then whatever.
Obama has caught a lot of flak for saying that he would be willing to work with our enemies, Iran included. I really do not see how this is a bad thing.
Nothing is going to be solved in the Middle East unless we talk to everyone, and occupation does not count as discussion, sorry Bush.
Having support from Hamas sounds damning, it really does. But couldn't it also be a good thing? Hamas isn't psyched about Obama because they think he will let them cause a ruckus whenever they feel like it.
They are excited because even they know he has a different vision for America and a different attitude regarding foreign policy.
McCain is trying very hard to capitalize this. He sent out campaign e-mails to supporters to let them know that Obama is loved by the terrorists and that while Obama would pull out of Iraq, McCain would stay there until the end … whenever that is.
Way to play off the fears of Americans, McCain. You want to know what is really scary?
Heidi Montag from The Hills supports him (who isn't even registered to vote) but I don't mind that much. She likes McCain because of his "style" and said that he always "looks smart."
I would love to hear why she doesn't like Obama or Clinton.
"Uh, Clinton has just like, um, awful hair and wears like pant suits, gross! And isn't that Obama guy like a terroris,t or, like, something?"
All I know is, this has been one of the most catty, ridiculous election seasons I've ever seen.
It gets to a point where it stops being entertaining and people simply stop paying attention.
