Beginning in the fall, Fisher will offer its students a major in Statistics. Courses in mathematical foundations of statistics and statistical methods used to solve problems in the social and behavioral sciences and professions will be offered.
The College will require that statistics majors complete field experiences with community partner organizations in which they apply statistical principles and methods in real-world contexts.
Community partner organizations include the Rochester City School District, Preferred Care Behavioral Health and the R.I.T. Office of Institutional Research. For more information about the statistics major, contact Dr. Bruce Blaine.
