Student input missing againRumors fly due to lack of information on chapel
Construction has become a regular part of life for a college student at St. John Fisher College. It has forced students to be flexible about parking and class assignments. It has limited use of our campus by taking away LeChase Commons for months at a time and moving respected tenured professors to cubicles in the upper level of the library.…

Customers should show some respect
You know one of the things that is wrong with the world right now? Everyone is so caught up in their own lives and the next thing they need to do that they don't really think twice about cleaning up after themselves before running off.
This type of attitude occurs everywhere.…

It's become a part of my normal routine up to the point where if I take the rare nap at home and wake up in the evening, I half expect to go to the kitchen and find the morning newspaper sitting on the table.…

You wake up one morning, and you're getting shuffled onto the school bus with your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lunchbox and a plastic backpack. Years pass by faster than you would have ever expected, and you wake up one morning to grab the keys to the car, and you shuffle off with a German textbook and Russell Banks' The Sweet Hereafter.…

Courier Counterpoints: Eager to begin career
What are your plans for after graduation? It's a question that I get asked numerous times a day. Myself, like most other seniors really have no clue about what is to happen after we leave St. John Fisher College.
There has always been the toss up of going to graduate school or getting a job.…

This was my third trip to New Orleans to assist in rebuilding the city that suffered so much from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The stories we heard, the personal interaction with extraordinary people and knowing that our work was needed and capably performed were the highlights of a wonderful week.…
