Students will be working this fall to install a pilot digester system at the Cornell Cooperative Farm in Canton, New York, and then evaluate the economic feasibility of treating agricultural waste at small farms to generate renewable energy. The scaled version of a 50-cow digester will allow for the completion of a mass and energy balance over an 18 month period.

Across the country, different groups argue about gay marriage. Many religious groups seem to feel that the sanctity of marriage would be jeopardized by including homosexual people, who they see as sinful. Homosexual individuals, however, argue their legal rights are less than those of their heterosexual counterparts because the nation is refusing them the legal ability to join with their chosen partner.

The Scarlet Ending is a six-member band right out of Syracuse. Turning the music scene upside-down since 2005, the band has gone way beyond what anyone has expected it to. "We formed this band for our high school battle of the bands," says guitarist, violinist and vocalist Kayleigh Goldsworthy. That's right, they have a violinist. They also have a cellist and a pianist to go along with the usual guitar, bass and drums. The band consists of Kayleigh, her twin sister Kaleena on vocals and keyboard, Jon Tedd on guitar and vocals, Aaron Garritillo on bass, Jess Hafner on cello and synthesizer, and Nicholas Streeter on the drums.

This year, many renovations will be taking place on the Morrisville campus. Some of the renovation plans include, a replacement of the pool in STUAC, a two-story fitness center, renovations to the theater and changes to the basketball and volleyball courts in STUAC and the weight room. "These phases will be started around Christmas time," said President of Morrisville State College, Raymond Cross.
